In the library. Wasting time. I have nothing else to do. Actually, our email at home is being crazy & it’s hard to conduct Personhood business with a totally unreliable email server. Sigh… I’ll have to get on the phone with Wildblue this afternoon and see if we can resolve it. Should be as much fun as sittin in the library waiting for Emma to finish her project.
So…what else? Sometimes we have so much going on at once that it’s hard to compose my thoughts on any one subject, and anyway, I am having a brain-candy day . We are doing our book work and spending the rest of the day outside doing yardwork and enjoying this wonderful weather.
You know the bookstudy group is hanging around to late when….
We are going through the book Salvation in Full Color in our book study group right now and it has been a very helpful book and is sparking some very serious discussions within our family as well as some very interesting thoughts after study.
By the time we make it out to the front porch there is no telling what you might hear. You overhear (Emily is going to get us kicked out of the library) all sorts of discussions. You might hear something about homeschooling, childbirth or guns- definitely guns. I guess everyone was getting a little tired after the time change and conversation got a little silly. I think it started with someone commenting that they were glad to see Matt’s Caleb at church that morning. It snowballed after that into a discussion of how many Calebs we have & Matts & Matts and Darrens. From there it was decided that Matt R. needed to find a Darren and they began discussing where he could get one. It was suggested that he could walk up to homeless men and ask if their name was Darren & if it was did they want to live with him ? But what if he couldn’t find one? It was finally decided that it was O.K. if his name was not Darren as long as they were willing to be called Darren. Yeah. We needed to go to bed ;o)
* I hope no Caleb, Matt or Darrens are offended by this post. We love you all with the love of Christ.
Must have been one of our good nights.
