We took “Spring Break” this year, mostly because it was convenient for Mom. I was able to get some adoption related errands run. Poor kiddos got a tummy bug. Down so far: Sarah, Mercy, Annie, Trey & today, Ellen. The rest of us are bracing ourselves.

Les picked up a copy of our Home Study this week. It was so good! We should hire Annice as our publicist. Really, she has been wonderful. I’m so glad the Lord lead us to her & thanks to everyone who recommended her. Friday, Ellen, Mercy & I took a road trip to Memphis. Once again our efforts were incredibly blessed. We were able to get a good, legible copy of Bens medical records. The ladies at M.N. Hospital were so helpful & how could they not be? Mercy was charming their socks off. Speaking of Mer charming people- She was wearing another one of her sisters adorable creations and we were stopped everywhere we went so people could admire Ellen’s handiwork. Mercy didn’t mind the attention at all.

I took the wrong interchange and ended up at Whitten Rd. so as long as I was out there anyway I figured I’d stop and get my fingerprints run. My registration had expired and I had to call my Mother and she re-registered me online & I got my fingerprints taken care of. The young girl taking our fingerprints was so unkind. Mercy tried, but she was not moved by her adorable baby ways. Mercy was oblivious and we consoled ourselves by imagining someone must have stomped on her big toe just as we got there. Anyway, it’s done! I guess all that’s left is the last medical (appointment Monday) & Les needs to get fingerprinted. Hmm.  There is one issue that will have to be cleared by the director of L.C., we are not concerned and are resting in all this that the Lord will work it all out to our good and His glory.

Next week-round four with Vital Records. Monday-medicals and applying for a grant through Shoahannah’s Hope. Les fingerprints? Hopefully round 5 with SS will be fruitful so we can proceed with raising the funds needed. One by one the giants are falling. Our baby may be out there now in his/her mothers womb. Please pray for them.
